IDS is a non-profit organization supporting international development projects in a wide variety of fields. 

By bringing together people in countries of the developed world with development projects around the world, IDS works to increase knowledge and understanding of sustainable development.

Individual participants obtain firsthand experience working with overseas projects or work with well established institutions internationally in areas of their specific interest.
